Canadian HealthCare Administrators Inc [CHCA] is a specialist in Private Health Services Plans [PHSP] and acts as a third-party administrator of these plans as well as a trustee of the Health Spending Account Plans.
A PHSP is used to convert what is often a non-deductable personal expense into a fully deductable business expense without creating an off-setting personal tax liability. The PHSP, and any expense incurred with its operation, becomes a fully tax deductible expense for the business.
A PHSP is most often used by the small incorporated business where the cost of normal employee benefit plans through the large insurance companies is not cost effective. The Plan will cover the owner and dependants as well as employees and their dependents. There are no monthly premiums. The company pays 10% administration fee with each claim.
