         Welcome to Home Style Hardwood Floors, my name is Brent and I am the sole proprietor and only flooring technician for Homestyle Hardwood. Being the only flooring technician provides you, the consumer, with several advantages, the first being one-on-one personalized service with no salesmen to confuse communications between what you expect in service and what service is actually delivered. Most of my business has been word of mouth and by that I take great pride in ensuring every floor is done to not only meet my standards but to exceed my client~s expectations every time.   I entered into the wood floor refinishing industry 19 years ago in Saint John, during this time I had the chance to restore floors in heritage homes such as B : B~s and funeral homes that date back to the 1880~s. In 1997, I decided to move to Calgary to pursue greater challenges and to broaden my knowledge of the wood floor refinishing trade. When I arrived in Calgary I found work with the largest wood flooring contractor and was promptly put to work finishing floors for some of the biggest names in home builders for the Calgary area. Being unsatisfied with the quality of work that large volume produces, I decided to go into business for myself in 2002 to deliver a high quality and personalized service to home owners undertaking renovations.
